Robert Bailey

Robert Michael Bailey, 47, passed away at his residence on March 8, 2015. The family will hold a memorial service at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Sagerton United Methodist Church in Sagerton, TX.

Robert was born on May 30, 1967, in Stamford, Texas, to Michael Quentin Bailey and Linda Joyce LeFevre. He graduated from Plano East High School in 1985 as Salutatorian of his class. An avid mountain climber, he enjoyed being outdoors and loved nature. He enjoyed all types of music, but especially Rock and Roll. Very intelligent, he was specifically scientifically and mathematically inclined and was attending college at New Mexico Highlands in Las Vegas, NM, to obtain a degree in environmental science when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2012. He worked for a school in water conservation in Las Vegas, NM, as well.

Preceding him in death were his father, Mike Bailey; brother, Rus Bailey and paternal grandparents, Bob and Thelma Bailey.

He is survived by his mother, Linda LeFevre of Clifton; children, Isis Schaller of Austin, Oshá Bailey of Austin, Jaibo Bailey of Cleveland, New Mexico, and Ace Bailey of Clifton; brothers, Brad Bailey and wife Melissa of Plano and Brian Bailey and wife, Vonda, of Wylie; maternal grandparents, Delbert and Joyce Le Fevre of Sagerton.
