Robert Lee Burch, 89, of Hillsboro died Thursday, June 25, 2009, at his residence. Robert was born October 7, 1919 in Itasca the son of George and Nellie Petty Burch. He was raised in Blum where he attended school. On April 16, 1947 he married Wanda Coggin in Fort Worth. In 1973 he retired as a automobile mechanic from Jim?s Foreign Cars. An avid fisherman and reader, Robert was very good at making craft items. He was a member of Marshall Baptist Church in Helotes. Preceding him in death were his parents, five brothers, and four sisters. The family would like to thank Mission Hospice for all their care and help. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Burch of Hillsboro; daughters, Michelle Hale and Don Tutor of Hillsboro and Renae Smith and husband, Dr. Wade Smith, of Cleburne; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
