Robert Lee "Bob" Freeman

Robert Lee Freeman, 87, of Jersey Village, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019 to be with his wife, Margaret Freeman and his parents James Lee and Mozzell Freeman, all in heaven. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Paul Clark officiating. Burial will be at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro. A visitation will be at the Funeral home held from 10:00 to Noon,  Thursday, November 21, 2019.

Robert was born August 29, 1932 in Mertens, Texas to James Lee and Mozzell (Garrison) Freeman. On August 18, 1952 he was united in marriage to Margaret Louise Meredith in Galveston, Texas. Robert served his country in the United States Army and also owned his own auto repair shop. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, gardening, and  sharing his fruits and vegetables with his friends and neighbors.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Margaret Freeman on March 20, 2011; 2 sisters, Ruth Meeker and Nell Stucker; 1 brother, James Freeman.

He is survived by his three children, Roberta Martin and husband Richard, Eddie Freeman and wife Debbie, Peggy Dodds and husband Mike; sisters, Bobbie Lantroop and Betty Waits; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
