Robert "Bob" Hill

Robert “Bob” Walters Hill, 76, of Frost passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 23, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018, at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Darren Heil officiating. Burial will follow at Richland Cemetery in Mertens. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at the funeral home.

Bob was born in South Carolina in 1941. He received a Nuclear Engineering degree from the University of Tennessee in 1964 and a MBA from the University of Dallas in 1997. In 1978, he moved to Texas with his wife, JoAnn, and their children, Wendy and Bobby. He served as President of two global companies in the petro-chemical industry. His job allowed him to travel the world visiting countries on 6 of the 7 continents. Upon retirement, Bob and JoAnn moved to Frost, where he enjoyed his ranch and the friends he made in the community.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn.

Survivors include his children, Wendy and Bobby; and his daughter-in-law, Natalie.
