Robert Nichols

Robert Nichols, 64, of Plano, formerly of Wake Village, Texas, died Saturday, November 10, 2007. Robert was born October 29, 1943 in Grand Prairie, Texas the son of Park and Gladys Biggers Nichols. He grew up in Hubbard and graduated from Hubbard High School. After graduation, he went to Sam Houston State University where he received his BS degree in Agriculture. On September 26, 1978 he married Karen Cheatham. After working for seven years at the Bynum Gin, he went to work for Central Freight from 1978-2005 at which time he retired. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include his wife, Karen Nichols of Plano; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mark & Debbie Riggs of Arlington, Ronnie & Betty Cheatham of Temple, and Jimmy & Kaye Cheatham of Taylor; mother-in-law, Gracie Cheatham of Hillsboro; cousin, Bobby Joe Nichols of Grand Prairie; and three nephews, Jeff Cheatham of Salado, Ken Cheatham of Texarkana, and Colby Riggs of Arlington.
