Robert Wayne Rolison

On August 29, 2023 Robert W. Rolison, Sr. of Whitney, TX, was called home. Robert was born to Vera Loraine and Charles Douglas Rolison on October 22, 1941, the youngest of three children in Cleburne, TX. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by family and his favorite companion, Thor (his Boston terrier) and excited to be reunited with the love of his life Carlene Lewis.  They were married in October of 1962 and went on to have three children: Robert Rolison Jr., Kathryn Oliverio, and Steven Rolison.

Robert served in two branches of the military, starting with the Coast Guard and retiring from the Air Force.  After serving his country in the military, he started another career working for Hilco from which he ended up retiring. He had a love for people and lit up every room he entered.  He was known for his sense of humor and generous spirit which he attributed to the love of his Savior.  His final days were filled with family and friends and tales of the amazing life he lived.  He left a note letting all of us know that he was ready and had truly lived an incredible life.
