Robert L. Bob White, 74, of Itasca died Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Bob was born November 27, 1935 in Fort Worth the son of Hugh and Mary Sue Adams White. He graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth. From 1956-1961 he served his country in the U. S. Army with the U. S. Army Paratroopers. On July 7, 1961 he married Nancy Bailey in Fort Worth. An avid fisherman and hunter, Bob loved to be outdoors. He also loved his family and grandchildren very much. In 2009 he retired as a bank courier at First Financial Bank in Cleburne. He was a member of Itasca Church of Christ. Preceding him in death were his parents; four brothers, Doug, Lee, Jack, and Joe White; and two sisters, Judy Price and Mary Barbee. Survivors include his wife, Nancy White of Itasca; five children, Carolyn Deese and husband, Dennis, of Denver, CO, Wayne White and wife, Deborah, and Teresa White all of Aberdeen, NC, Doug White and wife, Diana, of Itasca, and Mike White and wife, Tammie, of Whitney; five sisters, Eva Elliott and husband, Otis, of Tolar, Linda Price of Nashville, TN, Ginger Willis of Burleson, Laura Hofsiss and husband, Ted, of Forrestburg, and Jane Salter and husband, Charles, of Godley; nine grandchildren, Annsley, Brittany, John, Jeremy, Robert, Ashley, Teri, Dale, and Junior; and seven great-grandchildren.
