Robert Worley

Robert L. “Bob” Worley 95, of Whitney passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. A graveside service under the direction of Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 7, 2018 at Bethlehem Cemetery near Whitney. A visitation will be held from 7:00 - 9:00 PM Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the funeral home.

Robert was born in McAdoo, Texas on October 15, 1923, to Riley and Molcy (Findley) Worley. On May 20, 1960, he married Linda Sue Alewine in Glen Rose. He worked construction and was a member of the Oddfellows lodge. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering in the garage as well as taking care of his cattle and gardening.

Preceding him in death were his parents, seven brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Sue Worley of Whitney; children, Darla L. Gordon and husband, Doug of Gaston, SC and Steven D. Worley of Burleson; a grandson, Kaiden Glenn Worley of Cleburne; a sister, Daisy Trimbell of California, and a brother-in-law, Tommy Alewine of Whitney; and special friend and caregiver Kathy Campbell of Whitney.
