Ronald Bolen

Ronald Thomas Bolen, 62, of Whitney, passed away on May 17, 2014. No services are scheduled.

Ronald was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, on April 23, 1952, to William Thomas and Virginia Loraine (Harville) Bolen. He retired after 20 years of service from L3 in Waco as an aircraft mechanic. Hunting, fishing boating and camping as well as water skiing and a love of the outdoors were his favorite pastimes. He enjoyed all sports, but especially football. Collecting guns was another favorite hobby. Ronald served his country in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carolyn Bolen.

He is survived by sisters, Libby Bishop of Deer Park and Kay Moore and husband, John of Gulf Port, MS; a nephew, Ronnie Pruitt and wife, Tosh of Little Elm; three nieces, Karen Mitchelle and husband, Ricky of Memphis, TN, Brandy Clingan and husband, Matt, of Pontotoc, MS, and Terri Wilkerson and husband, Don, of Plano; great niece Samantha Wilkerson of Plano and great-nephew, Jonathan Sayres of Plano; and aunt Ethel Armstrong of Gallatin, TN.
