Ronald Mccombs

Ronald McCombs, 67, of Bynum died Thursday, November 8, 2007, in Bynum. Services will be held at a later date. Ronald was born May 30, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio the son of James Raymond and Dorothy Borders McCombs. Before moving to Texas in 1976, he had grew up and lived in Ohio. In 1974 he married Bonnie Bukey. During Vietnam he served his country in the United States Air Force. For over 30 years he drove for Yellow Freight and received several awards for his driving. He was a member of Central Christian Church in Hillsboro. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie McCombs of Bynum; children, Jeffrey Raymond McCombs of Kennedale, Michael Eric McCombs of Columbus, OH, Richard Freese of Alexandria, OH, Melinda Mayfield of Dallas, Mindy Combs of Tyler, and Rhonda Jean McCombs of Athens; two sisters, Louise Caslow of Zanesville, OH and Patty Sacse of Columbus, OH; four grandchildren, Emily Freese, Tyler Freese, Amy Waters, and Matthew McMurry; and two great-grandchildren.
