Ronald L. Pierce

Ronald L. “Ronnie” Pierce departed this earth to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 16, 2018, after losing his battle with cancer. The family will hold a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, July 1, 2018, at the Whitney Missionary Baptist Church in Whitney after the morning service, followed by a luncheon, visitation and fellowship at the church.

Ronald was born on April 12, 1941, in Clovis, New Mexico, to James and Blanche (DeLozier) Pierce. He worked at Lennox industries until 1991 during which time he raised his family. In recent years he resided in Whitney.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Daryl.

Survivors include three children, Ronald Wade Pierce, Virginia Lee Covert, and Cindy Estelle Pierce; three grandchildren, Annabelle Pierce, Marissa Covert and Kaitlin Covert; a brother, David Pierce and his nieces and nephews.
