Ronald Roberts

Ronald Earl Roberts, 74, of Hillsboro died Monday, August 20, 2007, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Ronald was born October 1, 1932 in Fort Worth, Texas the son of Price G. and Victoria Hilbun Roberts. Ronald was a graduate of the General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan. He served his country in the U. S. Army. He was owner and operator of Ron Roberts & Associates. He was a very active member of First Baptist Church in Hillsboro, which he loved very much, and a member of Lions Club and the National Association of Rural Appraisers. He enjoyed sports and rodeos. Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Mona, in 1987; and one brother, Price G. Roberts, Jr. Survivors include two children, Patrick Roberts and wife, Barbara, of Haslet and Jolynn Miller and husband, John, of Adolphus, Kentucky; a step-son, Bobby Debenport and wife, Marcia, of Keller; three brothers, Kenneth Roberts and wife, Pat, of Covington, Paul Roberts and wife, Rose, of Tyler, and Dennis Roberts and wife, Glenda, of Canton; and two grandchildren, Eric Black and Marissa Roberts both of Haslet.
