Rosa Lee Davison, 85, of Hillsboro died Thursday, February 16, 2006, at Canterbury Villa Nursing Home. Rosa was born July 30, 1920 in Mineola, Texas the daughter of Wiley and Nancy Rose Blackburn Lewis. For many years she worked for Safeway Store. In September 1936 she married Edwin Glenn Davison in Cleburne and he preceded her in death on July 19, 1975. Rosa was a member of First Baptist Church in Hillsboro where she attended the Mary Martha Sunday School Class. She was also a member of Les Causeuses Club and Hillsboro Garden Club. For 17 years she was a pink lady volunteer at Hill Regional Hospital Auxiliary. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Clarence and Joe Lewis; and one sister-in-law, Nadine Lewis. Survivors include her children, Barbara Morgan of Hillsboro and Edwin Glenn Davison and wife, Pat, of Schertz, TX; two sisters-in-law, Cleo Davison of LaPorte, TX and Naomi Frazier of Hillsboro; six grandchildren, Karen Doskocil and husband, Ray, of Hillsboro, Steven Morgan and wife, Elaine, of Arlington, Danny Morgan and wife, Irma, of Germantown, TN, Erik Davison and wife, Kim, of Elgin, Illinois, Susan Arenas and husband, Hector, of San Antonio, and Jeff Davison and wife, Elvira, of Brownsville; and 14 great-grandchildren.
