Rosemary Ann Kruger, 81, of Malone passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, at Salem Lutheran Church in Malone with Rev. James Heiser officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Malone. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.
Rosemary was born November 7, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Leroy and Susan (Hucko) Rader. She grew up in Detroit and Warren, Michigan. Following her marriage to Morris Kruger on June 18, 1955, the newlyweds moved to Texas. She worked for Mercantile Bank and Trust and Titches Department Store before going to work for Walmart as a department manager, where she retired after 10 years. Rosemary loved to read, work crossword puzzles, and doing arts and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Rosemary is survived by her husband of 61 years, Morris Kruger of Malone; two sons, Michael Kruger of Malone and Mark Kruger and wife, Dana, of Greenville; sisters, Irene Zeno and husband, Ernie, of Arizona and Kathryn Rader of Greenville; three grandchildren, Marcus Kruger and wife, Angel, Melody Coleman and husband, Michael, and Joshua Kruger; four great-grandchildren, Xea and Mwarisimone Kruger and Riley and Payton Coleman; and aunt, Eronka “Goldie” Hucko of Michigan.
