Ross Milliken

Ross Milliken, 73 of Whitney passed away November 3, 2011.

Services will be held Monday, November 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney with Rev. Mike Kerzee officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Ross was born on May 10, 1938 in Dallas; the son of the late William and Helen (Ross) Milliken. He lived in the Dallas Metroplex area most of his life before moving to Whitney several years ago. Ross served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He retired in 2009 from the printing business, was an avid gardener and of the Methodist faith.

Also preceding him in death was his sister, Marganne.

Survivors include his wife, Sue of Whitney; children, Ross Milliken, Jr. and wife, Donna of Emory, Ky Howard and husband, Randy of Aubrey, John Nugent and wife, Elizabeth of Shady Shores, Cindi Nugent of Carrollton; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and cousin, Carolyn Hall and husband, Lewis of Laguna Park.
