Roy Carter

Roy M. Carter, 65, passed away August 8, 2005. He was the son of Roy Maston and Susan Viola MorrisCarter. He graduated from East Texas State Uiversity in August 1962. On March 2, 1973, Roy married Linda Gale Overton. He worked as a claims manager for the insurance industry and retired in 1996. Roy served as a deacon from 1988 - 1991 at First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, in Arlington, Texas. He was a member of Longbranch Community Baptist Church in Midlothian. Survivors include his wife, Linda of Midlothian; daughter, Lauren Pearson and husband, Todd of Fulton, Mo.; sisters, Ivalee Roberts of Greenville, Claudia Moses of Graham, Anita Wallace of Greenville and grandsons, Dylan and Aaron Pearson of Fulton, Mo.
