Ruby Mcdowell

Ruby Faye was the daughter of James William and Donia McClister Eagan. She grew up in Hill County and graduated from Bynum High School. After high school, she moved to Dallas and worked there most of her adult life. Ruby returned to Bynum and Hillsboro for a few years to take care of her parents before returning to the Metroplex. Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers; Ed Eagan, J.L. Eagan, and Johnny Eagan; and one sister, Juanita Eagan. She was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include one son, Jim McDowell and wife Cathy of Arlington; sister-in-law, Opal Eagan of Decatur; two grandchildren, Brad McDowell and wife Shelby and Craig McDowell and wife Erin of The Woodlands; four great-grandchildren, James, Sarah, Dylan and Joey Lynn; several nieces and nephews.
