Ruby Jean Searcy, 59, of Hillsboro passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro. No services are scheduled at this time.
Ruby was born December 9, 1958 in Cleburne. She grew up in Cleburne and had been a resident of Itasca and Hillsboro for several years. Until her health began to fail, she was employed as a CNA at the Grandview Nursing Home. Ruby enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding her in death were her father, L. D. Hafford; husband, Nathan Remont Searcy; and son, Jerome Searcy.
Survivors include her mother, Adeline Bouldin; two children, Tyrone Hafford and wife, Heather, and Jerrica McGill; daughter-in-law, Dana Turner and husband, DeAndrea; two brothers, Donald Bouldin and James Bouldin and wife, Leah; three sisters, Linda Lacey, Teresa Bell and husband, Leroy, and Shirlene Bouldin; and nine grandchildren, Xavier Wilson, Kaisyn Gardner McGill, Avah McGill, Chelsea Searcy, Fayth Searcy, Jacoby Searcy, Meah Hafford, Brooklyn Hafford, and Kellin Hafford.
