Rusty Suesz

Rusty Suesz, 58, of Whitney passed away in Waco on May 21, 2017. Church services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at the Open Range Cowboy Church near Whitney. Visitation will be Tuesday night from 6:00-8:00 PM at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.

Rusty was born in Grand Island, Nebraska on April 10, 1959 to the late Verden and Billie Jean (Workman) Suesz. Most of his childhood was spent in Whitney, where he learned to fish and hunt, which were two of his favorite activities. His other hobbies included model trains and model airplanes. Rusty was a member of the Open Range Cowboy Church and Vice-President of the Whitney Area Minature Aircraft Club.

Survivors include his children, Ashley Spriggs and husband, Alex, of Texas City, and Austin Suesz of Whitney; brothers, Todd Suesz of Washington State and Neil Suesz of Virginia; and grandchild, Kole Alexander Spriggs of Texas City.
