RuthAnn Waddell Miller, age 84, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025, in Whitney, Texas.

She was born May 29, 1940, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Thomas and Ruth Waddell. RuthAnn married Frank Clair Miller July 28, 1962.

RuthAnn was a registered nurse and worked at several Pennsylvania hospitals. After her family's move to Texas, she was employed at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Headquarters in Richardson, Texas. Upon retirement, she was co-owner with her husband at Miller Machine & Welding, LLC, in Whitney, Texas.

She loved Baylor women's basketball, family trips and excursions and international travel. She had a particular fondness for Paris.

RuthAnn is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ruth Waddell; her husband, Frank Miller; brothers, Thomas and Raymond Waddell; sister, Becky Guenther; and daughter-in-law, Tiffany Miller. She is survived by her sons, Jeff Miller and his partner, Lou Ann, of Burleson, Texas, and Todd Miller and his wife, Laurie, of Whitney, Texas; her grandsons, Maxx Miller and his wife, Melissa, of Burleson, Justin Miller and his wife, HangHang Wang, of College Station, Texas, and Cordell Miller, of Austin, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Tiffany Miller, Jaxxon Miller and Barrett Miller; and her much loved nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say a very special thank you to the caring staff and friends at the Country Club Retirement Community in Whitney, where she lived for several years.

She will be interred alongside her husband at Hillcrest Garden of Memory Cemetery in Hillsboro, Texas on a future date.

Memorials in her name may be made to the Methodist Children's Home in Waco, Texas.
