Salvador DeLuna Noyola, Jr., 77, of Whitney passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Whitney. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Marshall & Marshal Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Pastor Alfredo Montes and Pastor Manuel Abrego officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro. Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2015, at the funeral home.

Salvador was born October 13, 1937 in Mission to Carlota (DeLuna) and Salvador Noyola, Sr. He grew up in Mission and moved to Hill County as a young man. On May 30, 1978, he was united in marriage to Angie Rodriguez in Hillsboro. For more than 20 years, he was a heavy equipment operator for the City of Hillsboro, retiring in 1992. Salvador was a very hard worker who loved farming and raising his animals. He also loved to watch baseball. He was a member of the Hill Apostolic Church in Hillsboro.

Preceding him in death were his parents; twin brother, Desi Noyola; brother, Margarito Noyola; and an infant sister.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Angie Noyola; children, Salvador Noyola, III, Paula Lino, Danny Noyola, Richard Noyola, Tina Gilcrease, Martin Mendez, Joe Mendez, Frances Ramirez, and Sally Lozoya; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Agustina Martinez, Bertha Cavazos, Raquel Garza, Hermila Ochoa, Josefa Acosta, Otilia Noyola, Juan Noyola, and Eugenio Noyola; and several nieces and nephews.
