Sammi Benoit

Sammi Ray Benoit, 60, of Waco, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on February 10, 2025. Born on July 10, 1964, in Orange, Texas, he was a dedicated son to Frank Wilson Benoit, Sr. and Dana Joy Durham, both of whom preceded him in death.

Sammi's educational journey concluded with graduation from Connally High School, where he laid the foundation for a life characterized by hard work and a strong commitment to family. His professional path began at Plantation Foods, and he later transitioned to Sanderson Farms, where he worked until medical disability altered the course of his career.

A man of deep faith, Sammi cherished the bond he shared with God and family. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as walking his beloved little dog. His warmth and kindness extended to his friendships, where he actively participated in various activities that brought happiness to those around him.

Sammi is survived by his brother, Scott, and wife Christi, as well as his sisters, Tammi and Missi. He leaves behind many other family members and friends who loved him dearly and will carry his memory in their hearts.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated providers at Ascension Providence and to Providence Hospice for their care and compassion during the last few years of Sammi's life.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate the life of Sammi Benoit, allowing friends and family to come together to honor his legacy and the wonderful moments shared.
