Samuel Lewis Garcia, Jr.

Samuel Lewis Garcia, Jr., 55, of Hillsboro passed away Friday, December 16, 2022, at Hill Regional Hospital.  Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro.

Samuel was born March 4, 1967, in San Jose, CA, to Josephine Maria (Rodriguez) and Samuel Lewis Garcia, Sr.  He graduated in 1985 from high school.  On April 30, 2005, Samuel was united in marriage to April Christine Wine.

He was a cook in several Hillsboro restaurants and was currently employed at Lone Star Café in Hillsboro.  Samuel was an avid music lover, especially old-time rock and roll, and was fascinated with anything Star Wars.  In his spare time, he enjoyed watching movies, especially older movies, and spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death were his father, Samuel Garcia, Sr.; sister, Cynthia Castro; and daughter, Anzime Garcia.

Survivors include his wife, April Wine; mother, Josephine Garcia; three children, Kimberly Garcia, Natasha Garcia, and Aaron Garcia; brother, Anthony Garcia; and sister, Sylvia Brister.
