Sandra Arnold

Sandra Shelley Arnold, "Sandi," passed away on December 9, 2024. Sandi was born on November 25, 1952, in Whitney, Texas, to Perry and Jackie Shelley. Since the beginning, Sandi fought a courageous battle persevering until her final day. She attended Whitney High School. After graduation, she attended Hill College. She lived in Cleburne, Texas, her entire adult life and worked in the health care industry.

In 1972, Sandi gave birth to her only son, James Lamar Arnold, which she considered to be the proudest moment of her life. James tragically passed away in a car accident in 1989. Nevertheless, Sandi persisted with that innate courage. Upon her retirement, she moved to the Buena Vista Senior Community where she made lots of friends. She perfected her skill of being a social butterfly, attending every social event available.

Sandi was a real hoot and effortlessly funny. Her humor will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

Sandi was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Jackie Shelley; son, James Arnold; brother, Mike Shelley; and cousin, Jamie Cook.

Left to cherish her memory, niece and nephew, Will and Tracey Cox; great niece, Sadey Cox; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A special thanks to the staff at Town Hall Estates, Hillsboro and to Tammy Arnold and Jaci Kirk who took exceptional, loving care of Sandi in her last days.
