Sandra was born December 25, 1977 in McKinney, Texas the daughter of Herman Lee and Debbie Hall Clinton. She grew up in Waxahachie and Red Oak. She worked for Knox Fuel Stop in Red Oak before transferring to Hillsboro where she served as manager for over two years before entering nursing school. She was due to graduate from nursing school at Navarro College in August. She loved children and hoped to enter pediatric nursing. Sandra was also previously employed at East Gate Cleaners in Waxahachie and had resumed working there part-time while attending school. On February 16, 2002 she married Matthew Erin Baxter in Abbott. Together they enjoyed sponsoring youth go-karting. Even after leaving Knox Fuel Stop, she still enjoyed stopping by and visiting with her former customers and getting her morning glass of tea from Up In Smoke. At the time of her death, she was expecting the couple?s first child, a son, Mason Ryan. She was also preceded in death by her father, Herman Lee Clinton. Survivors include her husband, Matthew Erin Baxter of Abbott; her mother, Debbie Clinton of McKinney; two sisters, Cindy Clinton of Ferris and Shounda Hutchins of Wichita Falls; her father and mother-in-law, Ronnie and Kelly Baxter of Abbott; a brother-in-law, Shane Baxter of Abbott; two sisters-in-law, Shambra Baxter of Hillsboro and Emily Baxter of Hillsboro; two nieces and two nephews; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
