Sandra Jackson

Sandra Jackson, 75, a life-long resident of Hillsboro passed away Wednesday evening, May 10, 2017, at Providence Hospice Place in Waco. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2017, at Peoria Cemetery with Rev. Danny Gilliam of First Baptist Church in Hillsboro officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Born May 17, 1941 in Hillsboro, Sandra was the daughter of Jessie Lee and Minnie Bell (Leggett) Franklin. On July 5, 1960, she was united in marriage to Jerry Jackson and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2005. She was a secretary for a construction company and an avid fisherman. Sandra was a member of First Baptist Church in Hillsboro.

Also preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include her sister, Eva Sutherland of Irving and several nieces and nephews.
