Sexton Dees

Sexton Dees passed away on November 20, 2006 at Town Hall Estates in Whitney.

He was the son of Venus and May Anderson Dees and grew up in the Richland - Corsicana area.

He served in the United States Army during World War II.

Sexton married Maude Coccocan in 1943. She preceded him in death 2005. He married Louise Tanner in 1965.

Sexton worked for Stewart Office Supply for 30 years.

He was a member of the American Legion Post #522 inWhitney.

Also preceding him in death were his parents; son, William Dees and step-daughter, Barbara Tanner.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Dees of Whitney; children, Troy Dees of Whitney, Mary Faggart of Mesquite; step-sons, Cecil Wayne Tanner of Whitney, Ricky Lynn Tanner of Farmers Branch; sister, Ruth Mason; 7 grandchildren, Cameron Dees, Shay Dees, John Terry glover, Jackie Ray Glover, Mary Alice Massey, Bruce Glover, Daniel Glover; 8 great-grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, step grand daughter, Angie Tanner; step grandsons, Bryan Tanner and Michael Tanner.
