Shane Powell Williams, 47, of Hillsboro passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Temple. All services are open to family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 28, at Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro with Rev. Bennie Leonard officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Shane was born September 18, 1970 in Stephenville, the son of Karen and Freddie Williams. He was the backbone of Crazy 8 Whitetails and Exotics and a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad. Shane most enjoyed spending time with his family, taking care of their many animals, hunting, trapping, and spending time outdoors. He will be most remembered for his ability to light up a room and bring joy to anyone he met.

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandfather, Ray Quenon and paternal grandparents, Lige and Dovie Williams.

Survivors include his best friend and wife, Tiffany Williams, with whom he shared 27 beautiful years of marriage; parents, Karen and Freddie Williams; children, Kelsey and James Bobo, Quinton and Brie Williams, Corbin Williams, Chloe’ Williams and Ethan Conner, Cain Williams, and Claire Williams; grandchildren, Cohen Conner and Carson Williams; sister and brother-in-law, Kristie and Gary Smith; niece, Shelby Smith; maternal grandmother, Aline Quenon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and the entire Putnam Family who loved him dearly.
