Sharon Kay Keas

Sharon Kay Keas, age 77, of Woodbury, Texas, passed away on January 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2025 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro, Texas. Graveside services will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the New Woodbury Cemetery.

Sharon was born on March 24, 1947 in Hillsboro, Texas, to her loving parents, Carlas and Marilyene Davis.  Born and raised in Hillsboro, Texas, she graduated Hillsboro High School in 1965 and after she married the love of her life, Gary Don Keas, on April 24, 1965.  In December of 1966, they welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Kim Keas and 4 years later, welcomed their precious son, Darian Keas, in March of 1970.  In 1975, she began going to school to become a LVN, spending 12 years in the medical field.  After retiring from the medical field, Sharon went on to attend Tarleton University, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Business.  Sharon went on to be a secretary in 1992 at United McGill in Hillsboro, Texas, then went on to be a Librarian at Hill College before retiring in 2019.  She loved to go fishing, hunting, riding horses with her daughter, and spending time with her beautiful family.  Sharon was known as "Granny Keas", her kids and grandkids will tell you that there was no one in the world like her.  Her granddaughter, Tiffany Zavala, will tell you " "Granny Keas pancakes were the BOMB, I'm just saying."  Sharon loved being not only a wife, mother, and grandmother, but her most favorite title of all was being a great-grandmother!  She was the heart and soul of the family and she will be missed so much.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Carlas and Marilyene Davis; and her grandmother, Myrtle Fawcett

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Gary Don Keas; her daughter, Kim Graham and husband John; her son, Darian Keas; granddaughter, Tiffany Zavala and husband, Ramiro; great-grandchildren, Brantley and Braylee Zavala; and brother, Larry Davis and wife, Teresa.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Operation Blessing, Latham Springs Camp and Retreat Center, or any charity of your choosing.
