Sharon Monday, 75, of Hillsboro passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Providence Health Care Center in Waco. The family will hold a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2017, at First United Methodist Church in Hillsboro.
Sharon was born March 7, 1941 in Oklahoma City, OK. Her early years were spent in Oklahoma City and for much of her youth she lived in Colorado and Texas. In 1971, she was united in marriage to Al Monday and he preceded her in death on February 4, 2002. For most of her adult life, Sharon lived in San Angelo where she was employed as an administrative assistant for the San Angelo Public Schools Transportation Department. For the past 12 years, she had resided in Hillsboro. She loved anything involving a needle and thread, from quilting to knitting, crocheting, and sewing. Sharon was also an avid reader. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hillsboro.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, Paul and Dorothy Wiseman and a grandson, John Michael Paul Bond on November 11, 1981.
Survivors include her three children, Joe David Brownlee and wife, Kathy, of California, Lisa Bond and husband, Doug, of Abilene, and Scott Van Brownlee and wife, Donna, of Midland; four siblings, Paul “Buster” Wiseman, Jr. of Graham, Terry Sue Barnes and husband, Carroll, of Garland, Alan Wiseman and wife, Monica, of Melbourne, Florida, and Becky Cliett and husband, Glen, of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, Joey Brownlee, Jacqueline Brownlee, Josie Brownlee, James Wesley Hale, Jeremy Hale, Amber Bond, Amanda Bond, Anika Brownlee; three great-grandchildren, Julia Hale, Cody Hale, and Thomas Hale; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
