Sherry Myers

Sherry Ann Myers, 85, of Morgan, passed away on June 8, 2018 in Waco. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney with Mr. Richard Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow at Whitney Memorial Park.

Sherry was born on August 3, 2018, to Irvin and Mary Tyson in Key West, Florida, where she grew up and attended school, graduating from high school in 1949. She was a wife and mother who took care of her family.

Before moving to Texas, she also lived in Savannah, Georgia for several years. While living in Fort Worth, she worked for Robinson Roofing for about 10 years and also for Ace Electronics for about 8 years.

She enjoyed baking and cooking. Sherry was a Jehovah’s Witness.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Ward Holck; and a brother, Ty Tyson.

Survivors include her children: Leslie Hauser and husband, Larry of Savannah, Georgia, Kim Satterfield of Wilmington, Delaware, Melani Katsis-Sharp and husband, Stephen of Morgan, Gina Kreuzer of Savannah, Georgia and Damon Myers and wife, Lou Ann of Keller; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Doris Jones of Anchorage, Alaska.
