Sherry Wood

Sherry Lynn Wood, 63, of Waco passed away Monday night, March 5, 2018, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Hillcrest in Waco. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro with Rev. Warren Odiorne officiating.

Born October 4, 1954 in Hillsboro, she was the daughter of Bill M. and Ada Kathryn (Cochran) Wood. She grew up in Hillsboro, was a 1973 graduate of Hillsboro High School, and went on to graduate from TSTI. For several years, Sherry worked as a dietician in a Waco nursing home.

Preceding her in death were her parents and niece, Whitney Lee Wood.

Survivors include her two brothers, Johnny Wood and wife, Sharna, and Terry Wood and wife, Liskin, all of Grandview; nephew and nieces, Hunter Wood, Carrie Flores and husband, David, and Autumn Wood, all of Grandview; and great-nieces, Kami and Kylee Flores, both of Grandview.
