Shirley Darlene (Darden) Lacour

Darlene LaCour of Hillsboro, Texas, went to heaven Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Scott & White Hospital, Temple, Texas. Graveside services will take place at 1:00pm, Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro, with Reverend T.J. Burris officiating.

She was born June 28, 1946, in Hunt County, Texas, to William Clifford Darden and Colleen Darden.  She married Joe A. LaCour, June 4, 1965, in Arlington, Texas.  She lived in Arlington before moving to Hillsboro in 1988.  She graduated from Business College in 1965. She worked secretarial/bookkeeping until retiring from Hill County Tax Office.

She was a member of Woodbury Baptist Church. Darlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joe LaCour; son, Keith LaCour; parents, Clifford and Colleen Darden; sister, Glenda Eubanks; in-laws Joe, Sr. and Margaret LaCour.  She is survived by her brother, Dennis Darden and wife Nelda of Burleson; brothers-in-law, Jerry LaCour and wife Brenda of Hillsboro and Darrell LaCour.
