Shirley Miller

Shirley Miller, 71, of Covington passed away on November 27, 2009. Shirley was born on January 23, 1938 in Murfreesboro, TN; the daughter of the late Fred and Lillie Hutchinson Woodlee. She moved to Texas as a young girl. She married Weldon Miller on June10, 1954. Shirley graduated from Beauty School at Hill College and owned and operated her own beauty shop for several years. She also did oil paintings and sold several in California and donated paintings to charitable causes. She was of the Baptist faith. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James Fred Woodlee. Survivors: husband, Weldon of Covington; children, Jackie, Donnie, Dickie Miller all of Covington, Bobbie Miller and wife, Patricia of Itasca, Randie Miller of Covington; brother, Charles Woodlee of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Dale and Ashley Miller. Memorials: Disabled American Veterans, 105 N. Colorado St., Whitney, TX 76692 Visitation is a come and go starting Saturday evening through Sunday evening.
