Sidney Farquhar

Sidney Bert Farquhar, 91, of Cleburne, Texas died Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at the VA Hospital in Temple, Texas. Sidney was born February 25, 1915 in Abbott, Texas the son of Richard Randolph and Sarah Frances Adcox Farquhar. During WWII he served in the United States Army. For 32 years he was a truck driver for Santa Fe Trail Transportation Company. He rode with the Tarrant County Sheriff?s Posse for many years. He was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include his son, Allan Farquhar and wife, Debbie, of Cleburne; sister, Letha Helms of Elm Mott; granddaughter, Jennifer Farquhar of Fort Worth; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
