Soledad "Chole" Bustillos

Soledad “Chole” Bustillos, 90, passed away peacefully from this life to her Heavenly home on December 29, 2023, in Hillsboro, TX. Chole was born June 2, 1933, in Namiquipa, Chih, Mexico to Elias Bustillos and Manuela (Villar) Bustillos.

She came to the United States in 1968. She lived life to the fullest. Her favorite hobbies were playing Bingo and going to Casinos. She had humor and a zest for life. Chole will be greatly missed by her family and friends who will always remember her feisty and funny personality.

Chole is survived by her grandchildren, Monica Acosta, Christian and Gabriel Duran; her brothers, Elias Bustillos and Pedro Bustillos; and her sister, Manuela Diaz, and many nieces and nephews.

Chole is preceded in death by her parents, Elias and Manuela Bustillos, her son, Jose Duran, Jr; her brothers, Raymundo Bustillos, Jesus Bustillos and Enrique Bustillos; her sisters, Nazaria Lechuga, Elvira Gonzalez and Florencia Ortega.

A sincere appreciation and a special “thank you” to her nieces, Rosa Mejia, Lorena & Lupe Arriaga for their continuous care, and to her grandsons, Christian & Gabriel who also helped in her care.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Palacio Del Rey Church, 2825 W. Illinois Avenue, Dallas, TX 75233.
