Stacey Bernier

Stacey Marie Bernier, 32, of Whitney passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center in Waco. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2016, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney, with Bro. Greg Johnson, First Church of the Nazarene, Whitney, officiating.

Stacey was born February 5, 1984 in Olean, NY to Rene and Laurie (Limerick) Bernier. She was a 2002 graduate of Kline Oak High School and was currently attending TSTC where she was studying in the culinary arts department. On October 7, 2016, Stacey was united in marriage to Rachel Lynn Summers in Hillsboro.

An artistic person, she enjoyed making things out of wood. She loved to spend time at the beach. Stacey had a very funny and sarcastic sense of humor. She could just about make anyone laugh. She was of the Lutheran faith.

Preceding her in death was her grandmother, Carol jean Limerick.

Survivors include her spouse, Rachel Lynn Summers; parents, Rene and Laurie Bernier; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Patrick and Janita Summers; brother, Brenton Limerick; and grandparents, Raymond Limerick and Rene and Loretta Bernier.
