Stacie’s family moved to Weatherford, Texas when she was in the fourth grade, she continued through high school and graduated in 1988. Stacie attended Texas Woman’s University and graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science. Stacie absolutely loved her career, helping patients with their oral health in Texas, Arizona, and Utah. She adored her coworkers in every office she worked in and valued those friendships all her life. Stacie also loved to bless the lives of future dental assistants and hygienists by teaching at the collegiate level at both Weatherford College in Weatherford, Texas and Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona. Health and Fitness was a special interest of hers, so much that she became a Body Pump instructor and completed and competed in a body building competition. Stacie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed serving in many different callings. Stacie had an incredible zest for life. She lived life with an unlimited amount of energy and accomplished every goal she set with eagerness and determination. She was a true example of hard work and perseverance.
When Stacie received her cancer diagnosis, she took it with an incredible and inspiring stride. She inherited an even larger capacity to love and serve those around her. She fought fiercely to the end. She refused to give up. In her last days, her will to keep living was undeniably phenomenal.
She loved her family and friends loyally. She always made time for those she loved and enjoyed blessing their lives with her smile and laughter. We will miss her beautiful spirit, kindness, ability to graciously serve, and her strong loving countenance.
