Stella Tyra

Stella Mae Tyra passed away on November 30, 2005 in Town Hall Estates in Whitney. She was the daughter of Walter and Mindy Doris Gregory. She lived in Texas most of her life and also lived in Arizona, Colorado, and Louisiana for several years. On June 29, 1934, she married Russell E. Tyra in Hill County and he preceded her in death on July 13, 1987. She enjoyed camping and fishing and family cookouts. She always looked for the good in people and loved everyone she met and they loved her. She was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include her children, Edith W. Seale of Whitney, Mary Aulds and husband, Richard of Greensburg, LA; sister, Iona Jumper of Mart; half-brother, Alton Wayne Watts; half-sister, Thelma Watts; grandchildren, Lanny Seale, Larry Seale, Wesley Seale, Virginia Luper, Rick Aulds; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
