Stephen Perkins

Biography

Stephen Perkins, 62, of Hillsboro passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017, at his residence. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Stephen was born November 18, 1954 in Hillsboro to George and Bettye (Keen) Perkins. He lived all of his life in Hillsboro and graduated from Hillsboro High School. After working as a clerk for Hillsboro City Judge Neal for several years, Stephen went to work at the Hill County Adult Probation Office as a clerk where he was currently still employed. He enjoyed spending time with his family at get-togethers and keeping up with the Texas Rangers.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Bettye Perkins.

Survivors include his father, George Perkins of Hillsboro; two brothers, Joseph Duane Perkins of Hillsboro and Jason Todd Perkins of San Antonio; sister, Nita Williams of Hillsboro; seven nieces; two nephews; and many great-nieces and great nephews.
