Memorial services for Steve Krammer, 59 of Whitney will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Abiding Life Full Gospel Church in Whitney.
Steve was born November 17, 1952 in Angleton, Texas to Joan and Steve. Steve was a fearless youngster who loved to explore, test the limits of gravity, and push the edge of the envelope in everything he did. He loved water sports and motorcycles.
Steve married Brenda Hollums when they were both very young, having Michael from that marriage. They divorced but remained friends.
Steve married Donna Cunningham and Jared was born out of that marriage.
Steve loved Michael and Jared. He spoke often about how proud he was of both of them. He was disappointed he was not a better father.
Steve had personal demons, regrets, problems with his health. His health problems affected his ability to make better decisions. Famiy who loved him never held it against him. Family and friends remember the good times, Steve's generosity, friendliness, sense of humor and caring.
Joan and Steve held on to him to the very end of his life. Steve was loved. He was loved unconditionally. He was blessed. He will be missed.
Steve is survived by his parents, Joan McShan and Steve and Winola Krammer; sons, Michael Krammer and Jared Krammer; sisters, Debbie Hagelstein, Penny Hensley, Donna Douglas, Sunny Sanders; grandson, Colton Krammer.
