Steve Wilson

Edwin Steve Wilson of Hillsboro, TX passed away February 13, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Steve was born in Hillsboro on June 14, 1949. He attended Hillsboro schools, Hill Junior College, and Sam Houston State University. In 1971, he married the love of his life, Shelia Ray. Steve enjoyed a long career with Freese and Nichols, an engineering firm in Fort Worth, TX. He oversaw numerous projects throught the state including many water treatment plants and several dams. An avid golfer, his favorite pastime was enjoying golfing trips with his family and friends. Survivors include: his wife of 38 years, Shelia: his daughter Stephanie Johnson and husband Scott and children Benjamin Ray and Andrew Steven all of Hillsboro ; his son Johnny Wilson and Lupe Munoz of Whitney and her daughters Crystal, Emily, and Tamara and their families. He is also survived by his parents Doris and Weldon Wilson of Whitney; his sister Diane Pollock and husband Danny of Grandview and their family and his sister Nancy Shaw and husband Don of Hillsboro and their family.
