Susan Kay Sulak, 53, of Whitney died Friday, March 16, 2007, in Whitney. Susan was born May 2, 1953 in San Angelo, Texas the daughter of Sylvester, Jr. and Billie Jo Martin Sulak King. She grew up as a child in Big Spring, Texas, where he attended Immaculate Heart of Mary School. After her high school graduation from Big Spring High School, she moved to the Grand Canyon in Arizona where she lived and worked for several years, but settling most of her adult life in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2003, Susan decided to move back to Texas to be closer to her family. She came to Lake Whitney in 2005 where she lived with her sister, Sylvia, and brother in law, Duane Puffer until she found a home of her own at the Page Ranch in Bosque County. She loved living on the ranch and working in her vegetable garden and playing with her puppy, Honey. Susan worked at Lota Wata at Lakeside and also for Pizza Inn in Whitney. Her favorite times were family get togethers at her sister?s house or out on the lake. Susan?s strong work ethic and kind and loving heart, allowed her to make life long friends without even trying. Susan is still giving, as all of her organs were donated to TOSA Texas Organ Sharing Alliance, so that others could live on. Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Joe Sulak on March 8, 2007. Odpocive v pokoji Rest in Peace Survivors include her sister, Sylvia Puffer and husband, Duane, of Whitney; four nieces, Chanda Young of Midland, Heather Reed of Houston, Holly Duckworth of Leander, and Carrie Sulak of Susanville, CA; one nephew, Andrew Sulak of Los Angeles, Ca; two great-nieces, Lauren Reed of Houston and Avaleigh of Susanville, CA; one great-nephew, Will Duckworth of Leander; godmother, Mary Sulak; and numerous cousins. Private family services were held on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at the lake.
