Susie Pendley

Susie was born January 13, 1917 in Hillsboro to William D. and Minnie B. Doherty Blansett. She grew up in Hillsboro and attended Hillsboro schools. She also lived in Hubbard, Waco, and Burnet. On September 19, 1937 she married William Troy Pendley, Sr. and he preceded her in death on October 27, 1974. She was a homemaker and worked in the cafeteria for HISD. She was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Also preceding her in death was a son, William Troy Pendley, Jr. in October 1989. Survivors include two children, Linda Sue Kennard of Austin and Danny Ray Pendley of San Antonio; six grandchildren, Pamela Pendley, Cindy Pendley, Lauren Coe, Adrian Coe, Kelli Pendley, and Troy Pendley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
