Suzan Sims

Suzan Sims passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 in Hillsboro, Texas where she was a resident, at the age of 76. Suzan was born February 8th, 1934 in Frost, Texas to the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brown as the youngest of two children. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hillsboro, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Her favorite hobbies were Golf and Bridge. She especially enjoyed traveling with her many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Jack Sims. She is survived by her two daughters, Christi Mayr and husband, David, and Paula Carter and husband, Jeff; her son, Randal Jones and wife, Cheryl; stepson, Jack Sims and wife, Terersa; five grandchildren, Jeb Sims, Doug McDonald, Mark Mayr, Wendy Melvin and Samantha Deaton; and 6 great-grandchildren. She will lie in state beginning Sunday morning.
