Suzanne Johnson

Suzanne Johnson, 79 of Hillsboro passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 at a local nursing home. Born October 23, 1934 in Waco, Texas, she was the daughter of Charles Andrew and Lillian Loraine (Hickman) Johnson. A public school teacher, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville. She taught elementary school in Huntsville and Colorado.

For the past twenty years, she had been a resident of Hillsboro. Suzanne was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her close friends, Bill and Betty Galiga of Hillsboro.

Suzanne will be buried at Ridge Park Cemetery following a private service. Memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 915 Corsicana Highway, Hillsboro, Texas 76645.
