Sybil Henderson Robinson, 95, of Whitney, passed away on November 4, 2017, at Town Hall Estates. A graveside service, under the direction of Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors of Whitney, will be held at Noon on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Whitney Memorial Park in Whitney. A visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Sybil was born on August 17, 1922, in Red River County, TX, to George and Oma (Matthews) Tucker. She grew up in Red River County in the Cuthand community, living in several places in Texas throughout the years before moving to Whitney in 2001. She loved to sew, garden, cook and can and also enjoyed a lot of company. She was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, George A. “Fox” Henderson and a daughter, Barbara Sue Embry.

Survivors include her son, Bobby Lee Henderson and wife, Sandra, of Whitney and a daughter, Audrey Jean Evans of Louisiana; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
