Tamia Catherine John was born May 19th, 2006 at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, England. Her Grandmother's first and only Grandchild for many years and her Mother's only child for a decade, Tamia brought a lot of life, love and laughter to her household. She attended The Honeypot Daycare before finally settling at Birkbees Nursery where she was loved by staff and children alike. At the age of 5, Tamia started primary school - St. Joseph's Catholic School where again, she was much loved. Tamia was also a member of Amphibikids Swim School, TSV Gym Club and The Mill Dance Academy. Tamia also attended The Jubilee Center Church, attending Sunday School weekly as well as residential's in Wales - a time she looked forward to greatly. It was during the journey home of her final residential in Wales in 2014 that Tamia said she felt The Lord had spoken to her about traveling to another country to be an ambassador of his word. During this time, Tamia also honed her creative skills into the area of makeup and hair - often spending hours creating styles and applying technical precision to makeup applications.
At the age of 9, Tamia travelled to the U.S with her Mother to start a life with her developing family in Hillsboro. She was enrolled at Hillsboro Intermediate School and soon after became a big sister - a role she excelled in - filled with love and care, she made the perfect big sister. Tamia loved her family, she loved her friends, she loved her school - keen to lend a helping hand, keen to show willing and keen to share. Tamia was also a member of Hillsboro's Pride Softball Team - another area of her life that consisted of learning, opportunity and development. During Tamia's time in Hillsboro - Tamia's relationship with The Lord deepened. She came to know and love him on a much more profound level and would speak with him daily and read his word. Tamia also developed other skills whilst in the US such as learning how to ski, ride a bike and drive a Rzr ATV.
On May 20th, 2017, Tamia returned home to join her Heavenly Father. Tamia has fought the good fight of faith and has won the race. She has been granted her right to be a partaker of his heavenly presence and eternal life.
Tamia leaves behind her Mother Schivonne John-Ben and Sister Téa Ben.
