Tennie Isbell

Tennie Isbell, 85, of Fouke, Arkansas died Monday, April 27, 2009, in Fouke. Tennie was born October 1, 1923 in Hillsboro the daughter of W. G. and Iola Scott Middleton. On August 31, 1946 she married Woodrow Isbell in Hillsboro and he preceded her in death on December 27, 2008. For over 35 years she was a homemaking teacher having taught at Bynum, Dawson, Hubbard, Blum, and Hillsboro. She was an active member of College Hill Church of Christ in Hillsboro. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Frank Middleton, in 1995. Survivors include her son, Dr. Tommy Isbell and wife, Glenda, of Fouke, Arkansas; brother, Rev. Bill Middleton of Knoxville, Tennessee; sister, Ann Allen of Longview; granddaughter, Coen Isbell of Cape Maine, New Jersey; grandson, Calen Isbell and wife, Brandi, of Portsmouth, Virginia; many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
