Teresa Caron (Todd) Calhoun

Teresa Caron (Todd) Calhoun, age 67 of Whitney, Texas passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024 at her residence in Whitney. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Whitney Memorial Park in Whitney with Pastor Shane Metcalf officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, February 23, 2024, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney.

Teresa was born on November 29, 1956, in Ft. Hood, Texas to parents, Bobby and Thelma “Mewmaw” Todd. Teresa grew up in Waco, Tx, and graduated high school from University High School in Waco, Texas. Teresa became  a mother to her only son, Jason “Jay” Vieregee, on December 10th, 1981. Teresa married the love of her life, Brevious Calhoun Jr., on December 13, 2002. Teresa loved spending time in her yard planting flowers. She loved the beach, water, and barbecuing. Teresa had a strong love for animals from dogs, and cats, to horses and cows.
Teresa loved kids. She was a wonderful caregiver to the many children she babysat. She had a heart of gold. Her life was full of her love for family, friends she made family, and animals of all shapes and sizes.

Family was everything to Teresa. She will be deeply missed by all. This is not goodbye, it's a "see you later.”

She is preceded in death by her parent, Bobby and Thelma Todd; and brother in-law, Emerson Corsey.

Teresa is survived by the love of her life, Brevious Calhoun Jr.; son, Jason Vieregee; brother in-laws, Wayne Mason and wife Irene, Christopher Mason, and Anthony Mason and wife Shay; sister in-laws, Carolyn Scott, Nancy Felton and husband Fred, and Patricia Hillard and husband Freddie; and 1 granddaughter, Trinity Jade Vieregee.
